Quality & Transparency
We believe in clear communication about what our organic label means, how our wines are made, and what you can expect when you visit the estate. The following notes remove common ambiguities.
Our organic certification applies to the cultivation of our own vineyards in Couëron. It covers the grape-growing process, from soil management to harvest. It does not extend to any purchased grapes or finished wines that we may occasionally source from partner estates outside our domaine.
These terms refer to small-batch wines produced in limited quantities, often from a single plot or a specific vintage. They are not always available for tasting or purchase. Their release depends on the harvest yield and the winemaker's assessment of quality. We do not guarantee availability for any specific visit.
A guided tasting typically includes a walk through the cellar and a seated tasting of three to five current wines. The selection may vary based on the season and what is open at the time. We do not offer unlimited tastings, and we reserve the right to adjust the lineup without prior notice.
Our estate can host private events, but we are not a full-service event venue. We provide the space, the wines, and basic coordination. Catering, decorations, and specific logistics are the responsibility of the client. We recommend booking well in advance, as the calendar fills quickly during the summer months.
Direct sales at the cellar are available during opening hours. We can arrange shipping within France, but we do not ship internationally. For large orders, we ask for a deposit and a confirmed pickup or delivery date. We do not offer returns on wine that has been purchased and left the premises.
We practice organic farming, which means we avoid synthetic pesticides and herbicides. We do use copper and sulfur treatments when necessary, as permitted by organic standards. We also practice manual leaf thinning and green harvesting to control yields. These methods are standard for our region but may differ from biodynamic or natural wine approaches.
Word from our visitors
Honest impressions from tastings, cellar tours and private events held at our family vineyard in Couëron.
"The guided tour of the chai was exactly what we hoped for — detailed, unhurried and full of small stories about each cuvée. Tasting the white sec right next to the barrels made all the difference."
Marie L.
Visited for a weekend tasting
"We booked the wine walk through the vines before harvest. Seeing the grapes up close and hearing how the family works the soil organically gave us real respect for the bottles we bought afterwards."
Thomas R.
Came for the vineyard walk
"Hosted our small wedding reception in the courtyard. The team handled everything quietly and the rosé was a hit with our guests. A simple, warm setting that felt genuinely personal."

Private event in June
Our direct-sale cellar keeps a small stock of each vintage. Many neighbours and visitors from Nantes come back each year for the new white sec and the lighter reds that suit the Loire table.
The open-door weekends in spring and autumn are the easiest way to taste the current range and meet the people who made it.

What visitors say
A few words from people who came to the cellar, walked the rows, and left with a bottle or two. No staging, just honest impressions.
We booked the guided cellar tour on a Saturday morning. The guide explained the whole process from pressing to bottling without rushing us. The dry white was a revelation — bright, mineral, nothing like the supermarket bottles.
The tasting workshop was practical, not pretentious. We learned to pick out the citrus notes in the white and the red fruit in the rosé. Left with a better understanding of what organic farming actually changes in the glass.
We held our small wedding reception in the courtyard between the vines. The team set up a simple barrel table, served the limited-edition cuvée, and let the setting do the talking. Guests still mention it months later.
"We came for the open cellar day in September and stayed two hours longer than planned. The rosé was fruit-forward and dry, exactly what we hoped for from a Loire-Atlantique estate. Bought a case of the red to age."

Practical note
Tastings run Friday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00. The cellar walk takes about 45 minutes. Groups of six or more should call ahead so we can prepare the barrel room.
Trusted by local partners
Our organic approach is shaped by the people we work with — from the growers who supply our young vines to the restaurants and wine shops that carry our cuvées. These relationships are built on shared standards, not paperwork.
Restaurant Le Moulin
A long-standing partner in Nantes, featuring our Muscadet Sèvre et Maine on their seasonal menu for the past five years. Their sommelier visits the cellar each spring to taste the new vintage before it is bottled.
Cave des Quinze
An independent wine shop in Couëron that stocks our rosé and red cuvées year-round. They host our tasting workshops twice a year and handle direct orders for local customers.
Domaine de la Roche
A neighbouring organic estate that shares equipment and knowledge with us during harvest. Together we run a joint open day each September, welcoming visitors to both properties.
L'Atelier Gourmand
A catering company that pairs our white wines with their regional dishes at private events. They book our cellar for client dinners and recommend our tasting sessions to their guests.
Hôtel de la Loire
A boutique hotel in the nearby town that serves our wines in their lounge and offers guests a discount on our guided cellar tours. Their concierge team handles the bookings directly.
Association Vignes & Terroir
A local group that promotes sustainable viticulture in the region. We host their monthly meetings at the estate and contribute to their educational programme for school groups.
These partnerships reflect how we work: face to face, season after season, with a shared respect for the land and the people who live on it.
