How a visit unfolds

From your first request to the last sip

Booking a tasting or a private event at the estate follows a simple path. We keep each step clear so you know what to expect, when to confirm, and how much time to set aside.

1

Send your request

Tell us which experience you have in mind — a guided cellar tour, a tasting workshop, or a private celebration. Include your preferred date and the number of guests.

2

We confirm the details

Within two working days, we reply with available slots, the exact duration, and what is included. For events, we also outline the setup and any seasonal options.

3

Arrive and enjoy

Come to the estate at the agreed time. We handle the rest — the tour, the tasting, and the conversation. You leave with a clearer sense of our wines and the land they come from.

Practical notes before you book

Tastings run about 90 minutes. Private events need at least two weeks of notice. Groups larger than twelve are best arranged by phone so we can plan the space properly.

Practical Notes

Clarifications and Conditions

A few definitions and limitations that frame how our tastings, visits, and private events are organised. Reading this before booking helps avoid misunderstandings.

Tasting Sessions

A guided tasting includes five current cuvées. Each pour is approximately 4 cl, which allows you to compare vintages without rushing. The session lasts about 45 minutes and is led by a member of the family. We ask that groups of more than six people book at least 48 hours in advance so we can prepare the cellar properly.

Cellar Visits

The guided tour of the chai covers the fermentation room, the barrel storage area, and the bottling line. It lasts roughly one hour. Comfortable shoes are recommended because the floor is uneven in places. Children are welcome, but they must stay close to the group for safety reasons.

Private Events

Weddings and private gatherings use the courtyard and the adjoining barn. The space accommodates up to 80 guests seated. We provide tables, chairs, and basic lighting. Catering is not included, but we maintain a list of local caterers who know the property. A deposit secures the date and is deducted from the final invoice.

Direct Sales

Bottles purchased at the cave are available for immediate collection. For orders above twelve bottles, we offer delivery within the Loire-Atlantique area. Limited editions are allocated per household to give regular visitors a fair chance. We do not hold bottles without a confirmed order.

Cancellation Policy

For tastings and private events, cancellation is free up to 72 hours before the scheduled time. After that, a charge of 30% applies to cover preparation costs. In case of heavy rain, outdoor parts of the visit are moved under the barn roof, and we will contact you if the programme needs to change.

Accessibility

The tasting room and direct sales area are accessible by wheelchair. The cellar itself has a few steps and a narrow passage, so the guided tour may not be fully accessible. We recommend calling ahead if you have specific mobility needs, and we will do our best to adapt the route.

Our journey through the seasons

Milestones of a family vineyard

Each stage of our work follows the rhythm of the vine. From the first pruning in late winter to the quiet weeks of bottling, we keep the same calendar our grandparents used, with a few adjustments for organic farming.

Late winter

Pruning and canopy care

We prune each vine by hand, selecting the buds that will shape the coming harvest. This is slow work, about two months of walking the rows, and it sets the tone for the whole year.

Spring

Bud break and first treatments

As the first leaves appear, we start our organic spray program using sulfur and copper. We also begin tying shoots to the wires, a task that keeps us in the vineyard until early summer.

Summer

Flowering and green harvest

After flowering, we thin out excess clusters so the remaining grapes get more sunlight and flavor. It is a judgment call we make row by row, depending on the vigor of each parcel.

September to October

Harvest and sorting

We pick by hand in the cool of the morning, sorting grapes at the table before they enter the press. The whole family joins in, and the cellar stays busy until late evening.

Winter

Bottling and cellar work

Once the wines have settled in tank or barrel, we bottle in small batches. This is also when we clean the equipment, order supplies, and plan the next season's plantings.

Practical notes for visitors

Guided tours of the cellar run from April to October, and tastings are available year-round by appointment. During harvest weeks, we limit visits to the mornings so the team can focus on the grapes. If you are planning a private event, let us know at least three weeks ahead so we can reserve the courtyard and arrange the tasting menu.
