Choosing a Service Format That Actually Fits

A focused look at how we structure tastings, tours, and private events around what you really need — not a one-size-fits-all package.

Every week we get the same question in one form or another: "What do you offer?" The honest answer is that it depends on what you came for. A quick stop to pick up a bottle is a different experience from a guided walk through the vines, and both are valid ways to visit the domaine. The trick is matching the format to the moment.

For a first visit, most people choose the classic guided tour of the chai. It takes about an hour, covers how we work the soil and press the grapes, and ends with a seated tasting of three current cuvées. It works well when you want context without committing to a full afternoon. The tour runs on fixed slots, so you know exactly how long you'll be here.

If you already know our wines and want something more hands-on, the tasting workshop is the better fit. We keep the group small — six people maximum — and spend the time comparing vintages side by side. You learn to read the color, pick out the aromas, and understand why a dry white from Couëron behaves differently from a rosé made the same year. It's practical, not academic.

Private events are a separate category entirely. Weddings, family gatherings, or a corporate afternoon in the vines all have different constraints: timing, group size, whether you need the whole estate or just the terrace. We sit down first, talk through the day, and only then propose a structure. That conversation is where the format gets decided.

The point is that there is no single "best" option. The right format depends on how much time you have, what you want to learn, and whether you're here alone or with a group. If you're unsure, start with the guided tour — it gives you the lay of the land and a honest taste of what we do.
